报告介绍:Competing tensions and demands pervade our working lives. We must cooperate and compete, embrace change and maintain stability, make novel and useful products and navigate our professional and personal lives. Are some individuals better than others at managing these tensions? I present a set of studies that highlights the role of paradox mindset, which is the extent to which one is accepting of and comfortable with tensions. I demonstrate the impact of paradox mindset on creativity, performance and innovation, as well as new insights on why based on a neuroscientific study.
